A cozy bed and breakfast in Joutsa ran by a local couple. The rooms share a common use shower and bathrooms, sauna is also available and recommended. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, they also prepare a true home made breakfast in the morning (and it is very very tasty).

Located in the centre of Joutsa the place is easy to find. Checking in is flexible, you can agree the time pretty much when you want.
We stayed here the 1st April that was Easter Monday. It meant we were the only customers. The welcoming was warm, very informal although all paperwork was conducted. We got the code to the front door, instructions on how to turn the sauna on, and were asked our prefrences for late night snack and above all, the breakfast in the morning.
When we came back from the tour in the village, we saw there was tea and different pastries served. After sauna we enjoyed fresh baked pastries etc. There was so much to choose from.
After a good night sleep in a comfortable bed we went to breakfast that was quite overwhelming. The thing that made it possible is that the dining room works as a cafe on working days and just when we finished our breakfast the cafe opened for public.
The owners' friendliness is beyond my capability to describe. We really felt more like welcome guests than hotel guests. The feeling we had after leaving was really relaxed and happy.
I really recommend this place. If I have need to stay near Joutsa again, this will be the place.- Rooms
- Clean, neat, comfortable, and peaceful. Bath robes available. Mind you, this is a Bed and Breakfast facility, so all facilities are common, eg sauna, toilets, showers. There are several toilets and showers, and one excellent sauna.

I stayed here from 15.4-19.4 and it was a great gem in the middle of Joutsa. Sports facilities and shops are within walking distance. The facilities were cozy and very good. The sauna was a great surprise and I used it every day. The staff were really friendly and nice, I felt warm and cozy. I highly recommend this place and will use their accommodation in the future when I get lost in the surrounding area.

Hinta-laatusuhde on erittäin hyvä. Pitäjä pariskunta loihti kyllä paikkaan hyvin välittävän ja lämpimän tunnelman. Palvelu oli erinomaista ja lapsille oli myös paljon leluja ja pelejä yms. Viihdyttiin erinomaisesti! Aamupalaa ei ole myöskään tuhaan kehuttu, oli erittäin hyvä. Suosittelen!

The price-quality ratio is very good. The host couple did create a very caring and warm atmosphere in the place. The service was excellent and there were also a lot of toys and games for the children, etc. We had a great time! The breakfast has not been praised either, it was very good. I recommend!

While on a work trip, avoiding chain hotels, we found this gem! The facade does not match the atmosphere of the lovely interior! Clean, tidy and atmospheric, friendly service and a lot of local knowledge from the owner couple. The excellent breakfast with homemade pastries, sauna facilities and a lovely library corner available for guests surprised experienced travelers. Definitely again when you need to stay overnight or have a coffee along the 4-way!

We wanted to spend one night in Joutsa after our cottage holiday. It was -29 in the morning. We were warmly welcomed. We were given a warm room and the food was the best. The homemade pastries were delicious. Very clean and peaceful place. No alcohol, which is really good. Perfect for everyone. There was a sauna and a large reading room with books. Very nice staff. Hopefully we'll see you in the summer. I recommend it😍

Kahden yön majoittuminen, kaksi henkilöä ja koira. Vapaasti saimme tulla ja mennä, majoituspaikassa hyvät suihkut ja sauna. Aamupala tuoreista ja myös itse tehdyistä aineksista, isäntäpari loi kodikkaan tunnelman ja he olivat todella ystävällisiä ja neuvoivat kaikessa. Kerrassaan ihana paikka ❤️!!

Two-night stay, two people and a dog. We were free to come and go, the accommodation had good showers and a sauna. Breakfast with fresh and homemade ingredients, the host couple created a cozy atmosphere and they were really friendly and advised on everything. Absolutely wonderful place ❤️!!

Todella ihana ja lämminhenkinen majoituspaikka. Iso suositus tälle paikalle! Aamiainen juuri riittävä ja henkilökunta niin mukava ja vastaanottavainen, että olo oli kuin kotiin astelisi.

I've never liked chicken soup, but today I had something that changed my opinion. The food was good, seasoned just right, and topped it all off with fresh bread. The atmosphere is cozy and the customer service is top notch.
